Buttons didn't work and had half of the advertised number of games.

great item for nostalgic video games. decent battery but takes a while to charge. buttons are a bit confusing and saving games is also confusing. the device also does not have enough memory to process some of the games (like super smash bros) which is annoying. my device came with only one memory card installed in the OS slot nothing in the game slot. also, on booting if you press the down button it shows the commands and functions that are run. several items fail but the screen changes too fast for me to read which ones.

Great game console! I like the old games I think it's a good idea to add this to your collection of experience it's so cool for the graphics to be so advanced technology for these games pretty sweet!

Excellent Handheld Gaming Device! Works just like the original R36S consoles with no problems yet. Though, keep in mind, this is not an original R36S console and is a clone, so if you have the “Upgraded 256GB SD” with the new version of ArkOS from the original RetroPro seller in China, it is not compatible (at least I don’t think so). I’m still working on trying to figure out a loophole for the Upgraded SD to work.If the Product Description stated that this was a clone device and not the original, I would’ve given it 5 stars, but the lack of transparency has earned it a 4 star. Other than that I’m very happy with it. The buttons are all functional and response time is crisp. The screen on this is actually higher quality than the Original R36S consoles.NOTE TO SELLER: If you reach out and tell me how to make the Upgraded 256GB ArkOS card work on this device, I will raise this review to 5 stars.

Impressed with the PS1 library it has. Games I haven't seen come with other R36's or V40 max or the R40max. Stuff like Vandal Hearts, Legend of Legaia, twisted metal's, tony hawk proskater 2-4 just to name a few. 415 ps1, 152 N64, every Pokemon from red blue - Ds Black (not that I would recommend playing ds games without a second screen.) However I can say just with the brief 1-2 hours I spent looking through the games you couldn't go wrong with a purchase. (No Soul Reaver, or Castlevania SOTN, but I have those on other models) Solid button quality for the price as well. Estimate a good 5000 hrs of play before you would want to replace the battery. Sound is meh, but if you're like me you are purchasing this for the library not to be the perfect machine for everything. It runs most games alright, still have a lot to try out will update when I can.*** Update now that I have had a chance to sit down and attempt to play a game on it. I realized that it has a broken button on arrival, the connection on the back of the R2 button most likely broke during shipping which means some of the quick access features will not be usable. As well as a lot of the Playstation library will not be playable.
